The Advanced Handgun Training Class off-range instruction highlights safety issues related to the use of firearms in personal combat situations. Additional topics include residential defense tactics, legal options for carrying concealed weapons, clothing considerations, equipment selection and holster types. Prerequisite: Associated Protective Services Basic Handgun Training Course or equivalent training (subject to instructor approval). Course Requirements: All students must supply their own handgun, holster
("Strong-side" draw ONLY, no shoulder or "cross draw" rigs), hearing & eye protection,
500 rounds of ammunition and at least two (2) magazines or speed loaders and holder. |
